My interests are in Computer Vision, Image and Signal Processing. The principal projects of current interest include
Currently, I have collaborative work with the Photon Counting Group to build long range 3D imaging systems which set new standards for sensitivity and accuracy, and with the Global Change Group within Geosciences at Edinburgh University to investigate forest dynamics as a component of climate change. I am also involved in the EU FP7 Locobot Project to develop algorithms for video analytics and human-robot communication within the “factory of the future”.
