Background:

I obtained my BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) in 1999 and 2001. I worked as software engineer in Broadi Ltd. (Shanghai, China) for over one year before enrolling in Heriot-Watt University. I am currently conducting research on tribo-mechanical evaluation of cobalt base alloys under the supervision of Dr Rehan Ahmed.
