Current research interests include complex characterisation of thermally sprayed wear resistant cermet coatings - microstructure (SEM-EDX, XRD, EPMA, DTA/TG), physical properties (microhardness, fracture toughness, elastic modulus - nanoindentations), residual stress (x-ray, synchrotron, neutron diffraction) and evaluation of wear performance in various tribological conditions.
