Cross section of a shallow channel manufactured  in Low Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) using a sacrifical tape. The channel is about 100um deep. This photograph illustrates the successful manufacturing of channels in LTCC using state-of-the-art facilities within the MISEC group. The cross section here is very clean and the two parts of the piece of LTCC are maintained by some shiny sticky tape, creating a sort of futuristic road.
