MoU with NICT

A Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Information and Communications Technology between The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology of Japan and Heriot Watt University (MoU) has been signed by Dr Hiroshi Miyabe (vice present of NICT) and Professor Andy Walker (Vice-Principal of HWU) on 28/May/2010.

The MoU is valid for 3 years and the collaboration includes a. Exchange of information, (b) exchange of staff and researchers, (c) Promotion of joint research and (d) Joint organization of technical meetings and workshops.

The collaboration between NICT and HWU will been strengthened under this MoU.

One PhD student (Mr Z Gao) of OCPN is visiting NICT carrying out collaborative experiment and another PhD student (Mr B Dai) will go to NICT in June for training and collaboration experiments.
