Welcome to the Quantum Optics and Cold Atoms (QOCA) research group. We are part of the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Sciences (IPaQS) at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We work on problems related to low-temperature physics, quantum optics, condensed matter physics, quantum information and gauge theories. The topic is theoretical physics, but we are also closely collaborating with experimentalists.
